This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving and dynamic team where you will oversee client audit assignments across diverse sectors, including charitable organizations, independent educational institutions, and owner-managed enterprises, managing group and consolidated accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee audits for larger, complex clients while addressing intricate technical audit issues alongside the audit partner.
  • Utilize a risk-focused approach, applying professional skepticism and judgment to ensure audits are conducted efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Identify, research, and analyze accounting and audit challenges, proposing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with partners, providing proactive support and guidance.
  • Manage and prioritize personal workload and assignments to adhere to deadlines and budgetary constraints.
  • Uphold audit quality standards in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through training and experiential opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while fostering strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the growth and advancement of the office.


Requirements

We seek candidates who possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified ACA or ACCA, or nearing qualification.
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in accountancy practice.
  • Extensive client-facing audit experience, including group audits.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and auditing capabilities.
  • Proficient in utilizing audit and statutory accounts software.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
  • Highly personable with outstanding communication abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish relationships at all organizational levels.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Possession of a personal vehicle and a valid driving license.
