Workshop Controller Opportunity

Are you a motivated and experienced Workshop Controller looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a professional and dedicated individual to join our client's state-of-the-art workshop.

About the Role:

As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating workshop activity to meet customer requirements and maximizing workshop utilization and profitability. You will oversee, manage, and motivate a number of technicians, ensuring the customer database is updated and accurate, and identifying potential warranty claims as per manufacturers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maximizing utilization and productivity to achieve set objectives and customers' expectations
  2. Ensuring the customer database is updated and accurate
  3. Identifying potential warranty claims as per manufacturers' requirements
  4. Liaising with Aftersales to order parts
  5. Completing job cards
  6. Undertaking performance reviews and initiating training where needed
Requirements:
  1. Main Dealer experience is essential
  2. Experience within the Workshop Controller environment
  3. An understanding of management and training techniques
  4. Awareness of Health and Safety policies
  5. The ability to be self-motivated to achieve targets
  6. Excellent time management skills
