The Anson McCade company is seeking a skilled Senior Test Engineer to join their team in Northern Ireland. As a key member of the product development team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and automating tests to ensure the quality and reliability of a classroom collaboration tool used by educators and students worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project concept meetings to define test requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Develop comprehensive test procedures, documentation, and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and automate functional, performance, and other tests to ensure the product meets the required standards.
  • Conduct exploratory testing for individual components or features to identify potential issues.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution, working closely with the development team to ensure timely fixes.
  • Communicate and summarize testing status to the project team, providing actionable insights to inform product decisions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A strong commitment to product quality and a passion for testing as a craft, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A technical diploma or university degree in a related field, such as computer science or software engineering.
  • Proven industry experience in software testing, with a focus on UI testing and automation.
  • Authorization to work in Northern Ireland, with a strong understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with test automation, software development, or scripting, with a focus on open-source testing tools like RobotFramework, Python, Selenium, Sikuli, Appium.
