Learning Support Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Learning Support Assistant to join our EYFS team at a Primary School in North Somerset.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Teacher to support the pupils learn and develop at their own pace. You will be expected to use your own initiative to develop activities to meet the child's needs, while also challenging them to enrich their learning and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Class Teacher in delivering lessons and activities to pupils with ASD needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the child's needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Class Teacher and other staff members to ensure the child's progress is tracked and reported.
