Core Responsibilities:

  • Security Oversight: Direct the management of data and information security across all organizational functions and technical platforms.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee adherence to applicable security certifications and standards.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement robust technological solutions to counteract threats from both internal and external entities.
  • Policy Formulation: Assist in the creation and execution of organizational security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish and execute an Information Security strategy and Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  • Engage with the Cyber Security Operations Centre to assess and enhance the organization's cyber security framework.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials standards and facilitate regular assessments.
  • Supervise penetration testing and vulnerability assessments, addressing any discovered vulnerabilities.
  • Design and implement a strategy for Data Loss Prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and related regulations.
  • Establish and oversee an information security awareness and training initiative.
