Job Title: Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at WHSmith. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring your team to provide exceptional customer service, meet business objectives, and create a working environment that helps our colleagues to develop and achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering results and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Criminal Records Bureau Check – to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful.
  • Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence.
