About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Chef/Cook to join our team at Taylor Shaw. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our kitchen staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook daily menus, supporting our onsite team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain, order, and control food stocks within budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
  • Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership ability, with experience in senior chef management.
  • Genuine interest in customer service excellence, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality food.
  • A strong team player, highly confident and positive, with the ability to work flexibly across multiple sites.
  • Catering experience with chef skills, with contract catering experience desirable.
