About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an SEN school in the Sidmouth area. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with complex needs to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the needs of each student
  • Build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support student progress and well-being

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 1 year's experience working with children and young people with SEN needs. You will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students and be committed to delivering high-quality support.
