HGV Drainage Engineer Position

Job Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer to join our client's growing drainage team. The successful candidate will work as a two-person team maintaining drainage systems using HGV Class 2 Combi Units / Recyclers. This will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on the mains sewer network.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold an HGV Class 2 license and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Previous experience of driving and operating combi units is desirable. You should also be willing to undertake physical work associated with maintaining the drainage network. Desirable qualifications include Streetworks, HPWJ (High-Pressure Water Jetting), Confined Space, and First Aid.
Shift Pattern
The working hours are Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm. There may be an on-call rota.
Pay
The pay rate ranges from £14.50 to £18ph per hour, depending on experience. Overtime is compensated at time and a half.
Contract Type
This is initially a temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
