About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client, a growing privately owned business. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance operations and leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, manage a small team (3), and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and transactions.
  • Produce monthly management accounts and the financial information pack.
  • Budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
  • Produce the annual statutory accounts, corporation tax, PAYE, and VAT returns.
  • Ensure financial processes and internal controls are improved and implemented appropriately.
  • Provide commercial analysis and MI to discuss insights and support non-financial stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Previous experience working in a similar, hands-on FM/FC role for a growing SME business.
  • Driven to develop a deep understanding of the business's commercial operations and able to drive improvements and add value.
