Job Title: Senior Analog Design Engineer

Acacia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our Mixed Signal Design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-speed analog circuits for our optical communications products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-speed analog circuits for optical communications products
  • Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met
  • Lead efforts for large blocks on complex chips, mentor team members, and track deliverables
  • Participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production
Requirements:
  • BSEE degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent
  • Design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs in at least 3 areas: high-speed serial links, voltage regulators, and high-performance output drivers
  • Experience with FinFET technology and high-frequency layout
  • Strong understanding of analog circuit design principles and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Direct experience with electrical transceiver applications
  • Experience with Cadence (Virtuoso) and Spectre/APS/SpectreX
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
