The Role:
Our client is seeking meticulous and inquisitive Mechanical Assembly Technicians to become part of their vibrant team. In this essential position, you will contribute to the next stage of their ambitious project execution.

Your duties will encompass a thorough examination of technical schematics and the assembly of high-quality, custom electromechanical automation systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and strict safety regulations.

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders, sharing your insights and offering constructive feedback.

Your primary goal will be to accurately assemble and evaluate electrical systems, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.

This position may also require travel to client locations for the installation of robotic automation systems across diverse sectors, including defense.


Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and evaluate bespoke electromechanical automation systems
Analyze and interpret technical mechanical schematics
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Identify and rectify electrical faults
Travel to client locations for system installations

About You:
HNC in a mechanical-focused discipline, mechanical apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
Strong communication skills in written and verbal English
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical mechanical schematics
Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies
Proactive problem-solver with a solid understanding of industrial systems, particularly safety systems
Able to manage workloads and complete tasks independently
Full UK driving license
Knowledgeable about health and safety practices
Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Flexible start and finish times available
