Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our dynamic team at Centre People Appointments. This role is essential for providing exceptional technical support and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on desktop support and optimize network and PC setups.
- Conduct thorough planning and design tailored to customer network and PC requirements.
- Configure security elements for networks, PCs, and desktops, ensuring daily service delivery.
- Manage migration processes and provide support for PC and call center systems.
- Perform proof of concept and acceptance testing while overseeing vendor negotiations.
- Develop and implement new features and services to enhance client satisfaction.
- Establish and manage project timelines and service delivery schedules.
- Conduct first-level troubleshooting and serve as the escalation point for customer inquiries.
- Maintain a secure and organized operational environment.
- Document all processes and modifications, visiting client sites as necessary for project or maintenance tasks.
- Provide regular status updates to the line manager and address ad hoc requests.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in Microsoft WIN 10/11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Strong customer service background with the ability to investigate and resolve technical inquiries.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a reliable work ethic and a proactive approach to customer service.
Employment Type: Contract position with potential for extension.
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience, with travel expenses reimbursed according to company policy.
