Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our dynamic team at Centre People Appointments. This role is essential for providing exceptional technical support and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on desktop support and optimize network and PC setups.
  • Conduct thorough planning and design tailored to customer network and PC requirements.
  • Configure security elements for networks, PCs, and desktops, ensuring daily service delivery.
  • Manage migration processes and provide support for PC and call center systems.
  • Perform proof of concept and acceptance testing while overseeing vendor negotiations.
  • Develop and implement new features and services to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Establish and manage project timelines and service delivery schedules.
  • Conduct first-level troubleshooting and serve as the escalation point for customer inquiries.
  • Maintain a secure and organized operational environment.
  • Document all processes and modifications, visiting client sites as necessary for project or maintenance tasks.
  • Provide regular status updates to the line manager and address ad hoc requests.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in Microsoft WIN 10/11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Strong customer service background with the ability to investigate and resolve technical inquiries.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a reliable work ethic and a proactive approach to customer service.

Employment Type: Contract position with potential for extension.
