Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Understanding Recruitment, specializing in building and maintaining large-scale, real-time data platforms.

This role involves collaborating with a team of experienced engineers to design, develop, and deploy secure cloud and container infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, containerization, and infrastructure as code, with a passion for building highly observable and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement security best practices
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of the infrastructure
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system uptime
Requirements
  • Strong background in cloud engineering, containerization, and infrastructure as code
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
