Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled B2 Licensed Engineer to join our team at Innovate, where you will be responsible for certifying line and non-routine maintenance and repair of H135/H145 rotorcraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to our Flight Operations team.
  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by our maintenance management system.
  • Lead a team to ensure the safe operation of aircraft, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Complete maintenance on avionic and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Replace avionic line-replaceable units and conduct serviceability tests to ensure optimal performance.
  • Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct avionic and electrical technical work in our workshop, utilizing specialized test equipment.
  • Assist with aircraft movement and general hangar duties, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Required Knowledge, Qualification and Skills:

Essential:

  • Strong knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems, including CAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with specialized avionic and electrical test equipment, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of:
  • CAA regulations, especially Part 145 and Part M CAM.
  • Flight/Airport Operations, including safety protocols and procedures.
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance, including routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.
  • CAA Part 66 B2 Licence, with at least 3 years of experience in a certifying role.
  • Experience with Flight Operations and Line Maintenance, including team leadership and management.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS, including experience with military aircraft and systems.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP software, including maintenance management and inventory control.
  • Type Rating and experience with H135/H145, including flight training and certification.
  • Experience with Airbus Helicopters products, including maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Military Aviation experience, including leadership and management roles.
