About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Business and Innovation Directorate as a Graduate Cluster Development Officer. This role will play a key part in delivering UKRI-STFC's Research and Innovation Cluster strategy, focused on the North West of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Head of North West Clusters to plan and deliver cluster-focused activities, including knowledge exchange events, conferences, stakeholder meetings, and networking.
  • Support the delivery of key Cluster development activities, including engagement with stakeholders, researchers, and businesses.
  • Gather, understand, and maintain awareness of the diverse Cluster community developments alongside the activities of other STFC developments.
  • Contribute to the collecting and analyzing data on Campus and Cluster activities to help evidence their impact.
  • Develop case studies and articles to raise the profile of the clusters.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with organizations on the Sci-Tech Daresbury Campus and key stakeholders across the research and innovation system.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and personal skills, including presenting ideas to peers and writing reports.
  • Project management experience, including experience with using analytical approaches to track progress.
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement (projects and personally).
