Job Title: Shipping Manager

Pin Point Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Shipping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transportation of materials to our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Navision system to organize transport in line with shipment dates, ensuring timely arrival of materials.
  • Issue accurate loading lists for transport and implement robust procedures to minimize loading errors.
  • Effectively utilize two permanent drivers, ensuring their CPCs are up to date and their services are maintained.
  • Expand our transport network to site using established contacts and negotiate the best value for our client.

Other Duties:

  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure production plans align with shipping schedules.
  • Investigate customer complaints and ensure trailers are up to date with services and MOTs.
  • Arrange cover for drivers during holidays or sickness and control Haulier invoices.
  • Invoice daily despatches and maintain accurate records.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
