About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Support Worker to lead our team of Support Workers in one of our Children's Homes. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and debriefing shifts, ensuring the welfare of the children is protected and promoted, and working within relevant legislation and organisational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Support Workers, including planning, managing, and debriefing shifts
  • Ensure the welfare of the children is protected and promoted
  • Work within relevant legislation and organisational policies, creating safe, positive, nurturing placements for children and young people
  • Provide a responsive service using appropriate methods of assessment and intervention within relevant statutory and company requirements
  • Fulfill all the duties required of a care support worker in the service in which you are a shift leader
