Job Title: Cluster Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cluster Maintenance Manager to join our team at Leisure People. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our leisure facilities across the Walton-on-Thames area.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, can-do individual with a passion for facilities maintenance to take on a leadership role. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and fabric issues across all our leisure facilities, leading a team of maintenance assistants, and managing third-party contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Lead and develop a team of maintenance assistants, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and building management system (BMS) schedules, ensuring that all facilities are properly maintained and running efficiently.
  • Work closely with third-party contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out to a high standard.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure that all expenditure is properly accounted for.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a high-volume customer service orientated commercial building.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Valid UK driving license and own vehicle, with the ability to travel between facilities.
