We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented CAD Coordinator to join our team at Right Now Recruitment. As a CAD Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the construction, manufacturing, and engineering industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development: Create accurate and timely proposals containing relevant documentation for each quotation.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, design, and estimator teams to ensure seamless project coordination.
- Commercial Processing: Process new equipment sales orders in CRM, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Technical Drawing Management: Amend technical product drawings through AutoCAD, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Project Handover: Effectively handover projects to the Commercial Design Team, highlighting special requirements, programmes, and payment information.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support and additional information to customers, ensuring exceptional customer service.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Quoting Experience: Previous experience in quoting or working within projects is highly desirable.
- Product Design Knowledge: Interest in product design, understanding of schematics, and safety requirements is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Mechanical, electrical knowledge, or ability to understand technical product requirements is required.
- Software Proficiency: Experience in working with SAP or similar software is highly desirable.
- AutoCAD Skills: Experience in working with technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar software is essential.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in working with property developers, architects, designers, builders, investors, installers, contractors, and quantity surveyors is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for this role.
- Highly Numerical: Ability to work with numerical data and maintain high standards of accuracy is required.
