About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead our team in providing specialist trauma-informed mental health support to young people with complex difficulties in our residential home, Hockley House. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Specialist CAMHS to implement therapeutic care plans and support residential staff in using Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) skills to provide trauma-informed parenting and practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead on clinical matters for young people and develop policy relating to therapeutic care practice in partnership with CAMHS.
  • Support staff in implementing trauma-informed care through the use of PACE to build relationships, understand underlying behaviors, and help young people feel safe.
  • Offer specialist mental health consultation and advice to all staff.
  • Assess and manage ongoing risks for young people, ensuring collaboration with them and their carers.
  • Lead on the implementation of care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies' regulations and Local Authority and Trust policies.
  • Lead on audits to ensure clinical staff complete mandatory training.
