Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Surveyor to join our Reactive Repairs team at Southern Housing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Southern Housing owned and managed properties are maintained to the highest possible standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize property usage.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including property managers and maintenance teams, to ensure seamless delivery of maintenance services.
  • Provide expert advice on property maintenance and repairs to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of property maintenance and repair principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
