We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Logistics team as a part-time Logistics Planner. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services meets the requirements of our customers.

This is a part-time role, requiring a commitment of 5 days a week, with flexible hours between 17:30 and 22:00.

The successful candidate will possess:

  1. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to query and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  2. The ability to work independently, making decisions based on provided information.
  3. Proficiency in commonly used software, including MS Office and business applications.
  4. Excellent communication, organizational, and telephone manner skills.
  5. The ability to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
  6. Desirable experience in route planning, although full training will be provided.
  7. Knowledge of UK roads, preferably gained from a logistics background.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and organize all deliveries, taking into account necessary constraints such as dates, routes, vehicle size, and stock capacity.
  2. Prepare plans, estimates, orders, and logistics annexes to support requirements.
  3. Conduct and prepare installation surveys to determine support requirements and sustainability of operations.
  4. Develop cost estimates, functional requirements, and resource requirements needed to implement logistics plans and operations.
  5. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including customer care and equal opportunity policies.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
