About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to join our team at Adjusting Appointments Limited, a leading UK Insurance claims management specialist. As a Loss Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in handling claims across various sectors, utilizing your technical expertise and excellent customer service skills to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Site Visits: You will conduct site visits to assess and establish the cause of damage to predominantly domestic properties and some commercial properties.
  • Gather Evidence: You will gather evidence and factual detailed information, taking site notes, photographs, witness statements, etc.
  • Engage with Customers: You will engage with customers to consider the impact of the claim and advise on the claims stages and expectations.
  • Make Decisions: You will make decisions regarding policy liability and maintain communication between various parties to ensure a successful claims outcome.
  • Utilize Technology: You will utilize the latest technology available to execute the role and provide a high level of technical and quality commitment.
About You
  • Experience: You must have property claims handling experience as a field adjuster, with excellent customer service experience, face-to-face, verbal, and written.
  • Skills: You must have the ability to make decisions and handle the lifecycle of the claim, with experience in writing scope of works and reports.
  • Qualifications: Industry qualifications, such as CILA or working towards, are essential.
  • Driving License: You must have a full clean driving license.
