Role Overview

With rapid growth across various sectors, we are seeking a talented Senior Strategy Consultant to join our Enterprise Model and Strategy team.

This role will involve working across the Enterprise Model & Strategy team, focusing on providing subject matter expertise and leadership for Cost Transformation and Enterprise Performance Management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of large and complex projects, collaborating with team members and clients to swiftly understand and define business challenges and potential solutions.
  • Develop and present insightful and practical recommendations based on a solid evidence base that withstands client scrutiny.
  • Build strong, enduring client relationships as a trusted advisor at all organizational levels.
  • Mentor, develop, and manage team members as part of project delivery.
  • Drive business development opportunities for the Enterprise Model & Strategy practice, including strategy development and execution, operating model, process, service, and organizational design.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in our sub-brands on new product and service strategies, enhancing the integration of design-led thinking, strategy, and operations.
  • Support the growth of the Enterprise Model & Strategy team through engaging leadership and recruitment assistance at all levels.
  • Apply a strong understanding of current strategic transformation trends to client delivery.
  • Ensure accountability for the delivery of strategic transformation projects within Enterprise Model & Strategy and drive the further development of these accounts.
  • Engage in business development, leveraging existing relationships and your own network to generate expected revenue targets for Invent.

Desired Qualifications

As a Senior Strategy Consultant, you will leverage your delivery experience, communication, and stakeholder management skills to assist our clients in innovating, developing new strategies, and implementing changes to their operational models. You will be responsible for cultivating lasting client relationships, collaborating closely with clients to design and implement new business and operational frameworks, often adopting an agile approach. You will work alongside sector colleagues to deliver strategic transformations for clients, from technology implementations that redefine operations to defining new functions that align with their vision. Additionally, you will contribute to the internal development of propositions for our clients and engage in the management of the Enterprise Model and Strategy team, including supporting recruitment efforts, delivering training to colleagues, and developing market-ready propositions.

You will bring experience in delivering transformation projects across various clients and industries, along with an agile mindset and familiarity with relevant tools and techniques. You will be expected to communicate effectively with all organizational levels to collaboratively innovate, design, and implement new business and operational models. Your acute awareness of market trends and the challenges faced by our clients will be essential in delivering lasting and sustainable organizational transformations.

Additionally, you should demonstrate capabilities in some or all of the following areas:

  • Previous experience in general consulting/management with a proven track record in delivering strategy/business model/operating model/organizational design projects.
  • A Chartered Accountant or equivalent with experience leading Cost Transformation & Enterprise Performance Management engagements, positioning you as our subject matter expert in this domain.
  • Stakeholder management: The ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with senior executives.
  • Experience in building and managing teams to mobilize and oversee multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Strategic thinking: Collaborating with team members and clients to swiftly understand and define business challenges and potential solutions, employing a fact-based approach to drive insights.
  • Analytical skills: Developing and presenting insightful and practical recommendations based on robust evidence that withstands client scrutiny.
  • Solution development and delivery: Leading and planning the execution of work streams necessary for program delivery in line with the appropriate methodology. Contributing to redesign activities to optimize customer experience by embracing digital capabilities.
  • Commercial acumen: The ability to sell additional resources, shape successful deals, and actively participate in account development.
  • Proven business success: Demonstrated success defined by clear, measurable business outcomes achieved.
