At AIG, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Actuary to join our Global Specialty team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Credit Lines and Energy & Construction business, providing pricing analyses and granular performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide actuarial support to the Global Business, ensuring profitable growth and taking remedial action where needed.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of technical pricing tools, adhering to best practice guidelines.
  • Drive the analysis and reporting of performance at a granular level, enabling underwriters to optimize performance.
  • Lead quarterly discussions with the business on Portfolio MI and Insights.
  • Lead large transformation projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Monitor rates at renewal and new business, ensuring technical pricing models are in place and reviewed regularly.
  • Ensure data used for pricing and monitoring is complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Support profitability studies and business planning.
  • Responsible for training and mentoring junior members of staff.
  • Comply with key regulatory and risk management procedures.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience as a Pricing Actuary within General Insurance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in R and VBA, with a desire to upskill in Python.
