6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Compensation:
Hourly wage ranging from £11.44 to £12.91
Role Overview:
As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be required to work efficiently under pressure while ensuring safety and security. A strong desire to learn and grow is essential, as the role involves physical and hands-on tasks.
- Unloading and pre-sorting of linens, towels, and products from delivery vehicles.
- Preparing soiled laundry for washing.
- Loading and unloading the Continuous Batch Washer (CBW) or commercial washing machines as per training.
- Managing the loading and unloading of wet and dry items into dryers as instructed.
- Transporting linens across the production floor to designated processing stations.
- Conducting quality checks on items during pressing and folding processes to ensure standards are met.
- Identifying and segregating items that do not meet quality standards for reprocessing.
- Packaging finished products for client delivery and loading them onto delivery vehicles as needed.
- Assisting with various general duties within the production facility, including cleaning and waste removal.
- Adhering to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) protocols at all times.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping to minimize risks of accidents.
- Performing garment repairs using sewing machines to a high standard.
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining concentration.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding basic English.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative.
- Motivated and committed to the role, with experience in a high-volume production setting being advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods, possessing good manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail.
