Assembly Operator

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Operator to join our dynamic team at Clockwork Organisation ltd in Newtown. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to assemble pneumatic equipment mechanically and electronically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and Pneumatic Control Panels: Build, wire, test, and commission electric and pneumatic control panels.
  • Mechanical Assembly: Assemble mechanical equipment, such as conveyors and robotic end-of-arm tooling.
  • Automation Systems Wiring: Wire automation systems, including 3-phase motors, sensors, and valves.
  • Pneumatic System Installation: Fit and run pneumatic lines, including valves and cylinders.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete daily job sheets and checklists accurately and to the required standard.
  • Self-Motivation and Initiative: Work independently, ensuring tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
  • PLC and Micro-controller Programming: Experience with PLC programming, including HMI displays, and micro-controller programming is advantageous.
  • Control Panel Assembly: Assemble and build control panels, including all wiring and testing.
  • Mechanical Fitting and Assembly: Familiarity with mechanical fitting and assembly practices, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Communication Skills: Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in reading and understanding electrical and pneumatic drawings.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrates a strong willingness to work and learn.
