As a key member of the Stellantis team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of our UK pension schemes. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a Trustee Secretary, preparing Board papers, taking minutes, and following up on actions. You will also provide recommendations for Trustee Approval and manage the Trustee Services function, which includes accounting and pensions projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the relationship with pension administrators for the Group's UK defined benefit pension arrangements
- Manage the payment of benefits in respect of the Group's defined benefit pension arrangement and those associated with the Group's defined contribution arrangements
- Provide support to the Pensions Manager in relation to strategic pension and benefit projects
- Ensure compliance with legislation and maintain good governance for each of the plans, including the requirements for Trustee Knowledge and understanding
- Support the Pensions Manager with the DC governance committee and help manage the DC plan
- Organise and carry out adviser reviews on behalf of the Trustee and manage the tender process where necessary
- Challenging advisers' views and charges when necessary to ensure the Trustee Boards continue to receive value for money
- Stand in for the Pensions Manager as required
- Organise member communications, both written and electronic, ensuring they are inclusive and efficient and utilise the tools available in the department
- Manage a small team ensuring services to the Trustees are provided, Trustees, advisers, and other Group departments
This is a fixed-term contract position, and you will be required to work primarily from home with occasional visits to our Head Office in Coventry for collaborative working and Trustee meetings. Travel to other group locations and advisers' offices may also be necessary.
