Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at Robert Burns Academy. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of various ages and abilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of our students

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning

• Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and incorporate new ideas and approaches into your teaching

Requirements

• A degree in English or a related field

• Proven experience in teaching English to students of various ages and abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time post based at Robert Burns Academy, Cumnock. The hours of work will be 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday at the direction of the Line Manager.

The full-time salary of this post is between £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
