Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at Robert Burns Academy. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the development of our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of various ages and abilities
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of our students
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and incorporate new ideas and approaches into your teaching
Requirements
• A degree in English or a related field
• Proven experience in teaching English to students of various ages and abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Working Conditions
This is a permanent full-time post based at Robert Burns Academy, Cumnock. The hours of work will be 35 hours per week, to be worked Monday - Friday at the direction of the Line Manager.
The full-time salary of this post is between £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
Selection Process
Applicants will be selected based on their qualifications, experience, and ability to meet the requirements of the post. We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks, and applicants will be required to provide details of two appropriate and relevant references as part of the application process.
