Busy Bees Nurseries is thrilled to announce an opening for a Kitchen Assistant on a part-time schedule, with no evening or weekend shifts required. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals based on an NHS accredited meal plan that is updated seasonally, ensuring our children receive the best nourishment throughout their day.
This role offers flexible working hours, either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Thursday, totaling up to 16 hours per week. We can tailor hours to fit your availability, with opportunities for additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant
- Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Implement safe working practices for both children and staff, ensuring compliance with Busy Bees' food safety policies.
- Follow company procedures related to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
- Most importantly, create a fun and engaging environment for our children.
*Please note that a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is required for this position.*
