Supply & Demand Manager

Join Glue Resourcing as we seek a highly skilled Supply & Demand Manager to drive our supply chain forward. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our customers while managing cost-efficient sourcing and stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the purchasing process, placing purchase orders with global suppliers to ensure stock levels are perfectly balanced to meet demand without overstocking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, particularly from the Far East, to drive competitive advantages in cost, quality, and delivery schedules.
  • Drive forecasting excellence by analyzing sales, stock, and availability data weekly, identifying trends and potential risks, and refining demand forecasts to prevent stockouts and overstock.
  • Manage logistics and freight, coordinating the timely delivery of products and proposing creative solutions to resolve supply chain issues.
  • Lead Sales & Operations Planning meetings, using your deep understanding of demand, sales, and supplier updates to shape the strategy for the upcoming period.
Requirements:
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, to analyze large, complex datasets and make well-informed decisions.
  • A Proven Track Record: At least 3 years of experience in buying, planning, supply chain, or merchandising roles, preferably with a focus on international supply chains.
  • Detail-Oriented and Highly Analytical: An eye for detail and ability to deliver accurate, insightful forecasts and reports.
  • Confident Communicator: Ability to lead meetings, deliver presentations, and explain complex issues to internal and external stakeholders.
