Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the City of Edinburgh Council. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the Council's street lighting assets, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair street lighting installations, including electrical equipment and associated infrastructure
- Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs, including fault diagnosis and rectification
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of street lighting services
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize asset performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a local authority or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
