Support Educator

Full-Time Position

This role presents a unique opportunity for a dedicated individual to become part of a team of skilled and supportive professionals in a well-equipped educational setting. Comprehensive training and orientation will be provided to the selected candidate.

We are enhancing our team of permanent Support Educators within the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) division. These roles are ideal for candidates with a background in education or related fields, who possess the necessary qualifications and skills to facilitate learning. Responsibilities include collaborating with teachers, leading small group interventions, and offering in-class assistance for students or groups identified on the SEND register.

Support Educators are expected to develop expertise in specific areas and share that knowledge with colleagues, students, and families. Current focal points include Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and English as an Additional Language (EAL). Experience in any of these areas is advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Building strong connections with students and inspiring them to overcome learning challenges.

Important Information:

All compensation rates mentioned will include statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
