Job Description

Job Title: Accounts / Financial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts / Financial Manager to join our Finance team at Inspired Learning Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, reconciling systems and bank accounts, and monitoring purchase orders to ensure invoices are received and posted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile financial systems and bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure invoices are received and posted in a timely manner
  • Manage a small team of clerks to ensure efficient and effective financial operations
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an education or non-profit organization
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
