Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician specializing in HVAC systems, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities.

Working Conditions:

Key Responsibilities:
With guidance from Supervisors, you will lead and oversee the Avrenim Facilities Management Estates & Engineering operations, ensuring compliance with all service agreements.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Accountability for all operational, health and safety, and engineering performance across a significant contract or multiple contracts within a specified region.
  • Management of reactive and planned engineering activities across various client sites.
  • Delivery of a safe, customer-oriented, cost-effective, and compliant service to meet contractual and legal requirements.
  • Oversight of technical delivery and adherence to all contract KPI/SLA agreements, with potential impacts on Avrenim and its clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory regulations throughout the contract, particularly in complex or critical infrastructure settings.

Technical Duties:
Your role will involve maintaining a diverse range of systems, including:
  • Steam and ventilation systems (air handler units)
  • Heating and medical gas systems
  • Pumps, motors, and plumbing works within healthcare environments

It is essential to maintain the effectiveness of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, equipment, processes, or services.

Health & Safety Commitment:
Ensure strict adherence to all company health and safety policies and procedures, promoting these standards throughout your team.

Professional Development:
Engage in training and development opportunities to maintain competency in all required tasks.

Performance Management:
Complete annual objectives in line with Avrenim's performance development review program and participate in regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations with engineering supervisors.

Team Engagement:
Attend monthly Team Talk sessions led by engineering management.

Additional Requirements:
A full DBS check will be necessary. A valid driving license is required as travel to various hospital sites may be needed.
