Import Account Manager

WR Logistics is seeking a skilled Import Account Manager to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the logistics industry, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of ocean import operations for key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of ocean import operations for key accounts
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts
  • Ensure compliance with international regulations and documentation
  • Identify ways to expand business through upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new services
  • Negotiate freight rates, quotes, and pricing solutions for customers
  • Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, and various carriers
  • Implement KPIs and performance metrics
  • Drive process improvements to streamline operations
Requirements:
  • Key account management experience is essential
  • Ability to quote and negotiate with overseas agents
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs, and INCO terms
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with ocean carriers
  • Extensive knowledge of ocean import processes with strong LCL & FCL
  • Experience with CDS system
