About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at ISS Facility Services. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for managing the security team and ensuring the highest level of security and safety at our customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day supervision and coordination of the security team
- Work closely with clients, customers, and colleagues to resolve queries in a timely and effective manner
- Attend and manage emergency situations, acting as incident commander to ensure the security team effectively supports and resolves any potential emergency
- Maintain rotas, holiday arrangements, and sickness records
- Ensure all security areas are kept clean and tidy
- Deliver security services, including access control, patrolling, CCTV operation, and incident response
- Assist the management team and client by carrying out investigations in accordance with ISS policies
- Ensure all duties are carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
- Report directly to the Security & Risk Manager
- Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits
About You
- Must have an SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence is a requirement for the role; must be able to achieve the licence within 3 months of employment – Licence already in place is preferred
- Excellent team-working, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Clear and confident communication skills to interact with clients, customers, and colleagues
- High standards of personal appearance and presentation
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Good computer literacy
- Experience supervising a security team
- Motivated by playing a part in continued improvement, including the professional development of your team
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to further develop your knowledge and skills, undertake additional training/qualifications
