Overview:
Novocomms Limited is seeking a dedicated RF Development Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in advancing our mmWave technology, which is essential for the development of our cutting-edge wireless communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and development of mmWave RF systems, focusing on transceivers and front-end modules to meet high-frequency communication goals.
- Utilize advanced simulation tools (such as ADS, HFSS, CST) to create and analyze mmWave RF circuits, addressing challenges like path loss and beamforming.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to integrate RF modules into consumer products, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of RF components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance benchmarks.
- Drive innovation in RF system design for mmWave applications, aiming for high data rates and effective signal processing.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes and technical specifications, contributing to the knowledge base of mmWave RF engineering.
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in RF/Microwave Electronics, Wireless Systems, or a related discipline (BEng/MSc required, PhD preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in RF development, particularly in mmWave technology.
- In-depth knowledge of mmWave RF design principles, including beam steering technologies and phased array systems.
- Proficiency in RF design and simulation software, with a strong emphasis on mmWave applications.
- Hands-on experience with mmWave RF hardware, including circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Awareness of current trends and regulatory standards in mmWave technology and wireless communication devices.
