**Job Summary:**

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will report to the site Quality Manager and be responsible for leading and supervising the quality assurance team to ensure all products meet safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement the internal audit schedule, conduct audits, and ensure timely completion
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure team compliance at all times
  • Collaborate with QA auditors to investigate complaints and supplier issues, determine, and close non-conformances
  • Conduct product checks and testing
  • Manage micro sampling, product swabbing, and environmental monitoring plans
  • Conduct shelf-life testing
  • Supervise the QA team and provide coaching to ensure a culture of food safety and quality
  • Conduct compliance training
  • Ensure product quality, legality, and safety, adhere to QA budget, and achieve KPIs
  • Enforce company culture, rules, and processes across the team at all times

**Requirements:**

  • At least 2 years of Quality Supervisory or Team Leader experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • A relevant degree or equivalent working experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal English)
  • Experience of facilitating internal auditing processes
  • Good working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, GMP, and Quality Management Systems
