Position Overview:

Kier Group is seeking a dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer to enhance our internal MEP self-delivery design and construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful execution of Mechanical Engineering tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, procuring, and executing all tasks safely while adhering to Kier standards and UK regulations.
  • Reviewing and refining designs to promote safe and efficient construction practices, while implementing quality control measures to meet both standards and contractual obligations.
  • Managing change control processes, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing precise updates regarding project status and financials.
  • Leading and mentoring your team, establishing clear expectations, and collaborating to achieve project objectives.
  • Creating an inclusive, diverse, and supportive environment for your team members.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive experience as an Engineer with robust technical expertise in Mechanical services and safety protocols.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCS and SMSTS.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development, with a focus on seeking growth opportunities.
