Heating Quality Assurance Engineer

Are you a skilled heating engineer with a strong focus on quality assurance? We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the role of Heating Quality Assurance Engineer at Bromford.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility will be to report to the M&E Heating Service & Repair Programme Manager, ensuring thorough audits and evaluations of heating services. This role involves:
  • Conducting both desktop and field audits to verify compliance with established policies.
  • Supporting the leadership team by reviewing gas services provided by our internal team, partners, and contractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Delivering Toolbox Talks on technical updates, safety alerts, and industry news, while also investigating gas incidents to prevent future occurrences.
  • Performing compliance audits in accordance with landlord responsibilities under gas safety regulations.
  • During peak periods, you may also be involved in repairs, maintenance, and installations.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for candidates who have completed a recognized apprenticeship with at least NVQ Level 3 and possess extensive experience in the installation, commissioning, repair, and servicing of domestic gas appliances. Key qualifications include:
  • Core Gas Safety Training Certificate CCN1
  • SSCS Certification or equivalent
  • Recognized Renewable qualification
  • Level 3 Gas Audit qualification
  • CMDDA - Fumes investigation
  • Unvented systems qualification
  • Core Commercial Gas Safety COCN1
  • Health & Safety qualification
Additionally, a comprehensive understanding of Gas Safety Regulations, the Gas Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure IGEM/G/11, and CDM Regulations is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word, is required. Flexibility in working hours and the ability to adapt to various environments is important.
