Cognigence Careers is a leading provider of high-quality care services, with a 45-bed nursing home in Southampton. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to residents with nursing, dementia, and residential needs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will support the Home Manager in overseeing care home operations and leading a dedicated team to deliver high standards consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to residents.
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures to ensure excellent resident care and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to oversee care home operations and make strategic decisions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff to ensure a positive and safe environment for residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong clinical governance and leadership skills.
  • Experience in a similar role or as a senior nurse in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
