About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist to join our Biopharmaceutical Medicine Discovery team at VONQ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the discovery of innovative biopharmaceutical medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the discovery of biopharmaceutical medicines through the application of cutting-edge technologies and scientific expertise.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to identify potential liabilities and design de-risked variants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic recommendations for molecule engineering, humanization, and de-risking.
  • Design and execute molecular biology work packages to generate plasmids for expression.
Requirements
  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in applying AI to protein sequence, structure, and experimental data.
  • Strong understanding of protein/antibody modeling and interpretation of structure data.
  • Experience in developing scripts and applications to automate data analysis.
  • Basic skills in molecular biology, protein design, and engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Established experience in antibody discovery and design.
  • Basic experience or knowledge about bispecifics and other advanced antibody formats.
