SALARY: £30,000 negotiable + pension

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time Fixed Term Contract for 12-14 months

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Management and Implementation

  • Adapt and execute the project work plan, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate changing needs, while ensuring regular assessments and contingency strategies.
  • Proactively oversee and manage all operational facets of the project on a daily basis: production, scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring progress.
  • Identify necessary resources and delegate responsibilities accordingly.
  • Coordinate team efforts and facilitate new skills development through structured training initiatives.
  • Engage hands-on with training and production activities.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of both permanent and temporary project personnel as required.
  • Develop and implement strategies for engaging with project outputs.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure brand consistency.
  • Manage licensing agreements and uphold compliance with UK GDPR regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong evaluation capabilities.
  • Create risk assessments and reports, ensuring that tasks are assigned deadlines with contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with designated representatives to ensure that business benefits are realized through the delivery of technical capabilities and content.
  • Ensure that project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and securely stored.

Media Production Oversight

  • Possess a robust understanding of creative media project development, integrating knowledge of various development stages into operational processes.
  • Oversee all elements of media production, including pre-production planning, scripting, storyboarding, live filming, interviews, and post-production activities.
  • Work with web, video, audio, graphics, and still imagery.
  • Maintain a good awareness of advancements in immersive technology.
  • Manage version control and source management for media and technology projects.
  • Have substantial experience with social media platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Design and implement a comprehensive communication strategy with clear objectives and plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective execution of the project.
  • Lead the digital marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize strategic planning expertise in journalism, marketing, or communications to enhance project visibility and promotion.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies.

Technical Proficiencies

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Windows, and macOS.
  • Exhibit advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro for producing high-quality media.
  • Possess expertise in managing raw footage and sound, ensuring meticulous organization of archives.
  • Showcase excellent writing abilities.
  • Engage in storytelling.
  • Have an awareness of visual design principles.
  • Experience in web and app production is a plus.
  • Be proficient in utilizing task-based project management tools.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage financial forecasting, budget preparation, and scheduling of expenditures. Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor daily financial operations of the project, including expenses, invoicing, and transactions.
  • Provide detailed monthly project status reports to the Project Director and Coordinator.
