Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading company in their search for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their facility in Manchester.

Our client is offering a competitive salary of £47,000 - £49,000 per annum, along with a benefits package including life assurance and health care cover.

The Role:
  • To diagnose faults and test, repair, and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipment
  • Use PMS to support prioritisation and problem-solving (RCFA)
  • Contact OEM's and other suppliers for technical support as and when required and expedite parts when not available on-site
  • Analyse trends in reoccurring faults and breakdowns and Reduce downtime of current equipment
  • Use and support departmental 5s programmes for workshops and stores
  • Developing and recording all engineering activities carried out by use of the Electronic Maintenance Management System
  • All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 quality management standard
Requirements:
  • Recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry - ESSENTIAL
  • Electrical Bias - DESIRABLE
  • Food/FMCG background - DESIRABLE
  • IOSHH/Nebosh

Commutable From: Bolton, Wigan, Rochdale, Oldham, St Helens, Stockport, Blackburn, Huddersfield, Macclesfield, Warrington
