Position Overview
We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join a research initiative funded by the NIHR, focusing on the viability of a parenting intervention tailored for parents experiencing psychosis - known as the PIPPA study (Parenting Intervention for Parents with Psychosis in Adult Mental Health Services). This project is spearheaded by esteemed professionals in the field, and is particularly suited for graduates in psychology who are passionate about adult mental health and research.
The selected candidate will engage in a variety of research tasks and utilize standardized clinical assessments (PANSS). You will collaborate closely with seasoned academic personnel at the University of Manchester, including clinical psychologists, ensuring a rich learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
The primary objective of this role is to recruit study participants and perform both pre-treatment and post-treatment evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. This position encompasses a diverse array of research activities, alongside the application of standardized clinical assessments (PANSS). The appointee will receive guidance and supervision from experienced academic staff at the University of Manchester.
