We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Administrator to join our team at Undisclosed in Cardiff. As a Technical Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of our site's Repair Industrialisation plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize digital tools such as Miro, Smartsheet, Spotfire, and Teams to track technical project progress and ensure seamless collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate shop technical reviews of new repairs and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Facilitate technical reviews between multiple stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Compile technical documentation, including routers, process/technique sheets, and other technical instructions, to support the NPI process.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for the site NPI schedule, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance the use and development of digital tools.
Requirements:
- Technical degree or demonstrated practical experience in a technical discipline.
- Minimum of 12 months relevant experience in an engineering or technical aviation role, including internship/trainee time.
- Knowledge of repair and inspection processes applicable to the overhaul of Aircraft Engine Components.
- Demonstrated ability to use digital tools effectively.
Desired Characteristics:
- Ability to compile concise and accurate engineering documentation.
- Ability to effectively interpret inspection and repair sections of Engine Shop Manuals and other technical publications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to influence others and drive results.
