We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Care in Mind. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 16-30 who are experiencing mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to young people to promote independence and autonomy
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and medication administration
- Support young people in developing life skills, such as education, budgeting, and time management
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to a safe and supportive living environment, promoting a sense of community and well-being
- Previous experience in a care or support role is not essential, but full training will be provided
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and Bank Holidays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic IT skills and ability to use online care systems
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding principles
