Elvet Recruitment is seeking a skilled Freelance Foreman to work with a Civil Engineering contractor on an ongoing project in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing infrastructure team in the North East. Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Site Agent to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Conduct daily briefings with site staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment
* Develop and implement HSE toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety
* Oversee gangs on the ground to ensure efficient delivery of work
* Conduct regular H&S audits to identify and mitigate risks
* Assist with supply chain and sub-contractor management
* Perform plant checks and obtain necessary permits for the workforce

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Foreman on civil engineering and infrastructure projects
* Possession of SMSTS/SSSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, and First Aid certifications
* Detailed experience with structures and Public Realm works (kerbing, drainage, etc.)

Remuneration:
